He appeared as Genghis Khan in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode "The Savage Curtain" in his first television role in 1969 . He continued to play small roles over the next thirty-five years, occasionally appearing in movies with other Star Trek alumni, including Corvette Summer (1978, with Stanley Kamel, Eugene Roche, Dick Miller, and Paddi Edwards).
