It is one of the five major moons of a gas giant orbiting a K4 star. This is a salmon pink huge gas planet with 29 moons of various sizes, its diameter measuring 200 Mm. The environment is notoriously hostile on this planet, hence the nature of the Ly-cilph evolution having facilitated the collective memory-storing capability which they have; as the planet repeats a cycle of immensely destructive weather every nine years — it has been necessary, in terms of evolution, for the planet’s flora and fauna to begin a cyclic existence, storing memories and seeds for future generations. This is why the Ly-cilph become transcendant at death, and continue on living in this manner.
