The Scythera Desert is a vast and cold desert cutting a desolate swath from the Southern Steppes of western Khul as far as the Inland Sea to the east. Home only to the nomadic Lizard Men, camels, Desert Goblins and peoples of Shakuru. Although described as cold in many books it is in fact a baking expanse. The cold refers to the freezing temperatures of the night. Caravan routes to Kish, Calah and Assur run through it.
