A memory orb is a magically crafted crystal sphere the size of a head, used to record memories as a sort of advanced, magical, journal. The earliest records of using memory orbs comes from the Arithmian Empire. The process of creating a memory orb and how to use it to store memories is largely a mystery. Only a few powerful mages in recent times have been known to use memory orbs, among them Mandis Menthur and Saelihn Tessarion. Memory Orbs have also been rumoured to be found among the strange creatures that dwell deep in Neverlight.
