Gloria Hadden was proprietor of the Ascott B&B where Ken Barlow stayed for a few nights in May 2007. With the Barlows' marriage at breaking point, Ken decided to stay at the establishment to take stock of his life, and also used the opportunity to get in touch with Denise Osbourne, wanting her permission to let him see their son, Daniel who Ken hadn't seen for several years.
