The Akermal District was an area of Denon that was heavily populated and overdeveloped. It featured towering durasteel and duracrete buildings that created long cavernous corridors to lace across the district lands. As a result, it was colloquially known as "Dura-City." One of the office buildings there was the headquarters of Czerka Arms, which also had offices in the Greenground District. The area was notorious for a potent odor that permeated the district. It was a combination of vehicular emissions and sewage from the overtaxed system.
