Commodore Hellenhase was a Human Starfleet officer active during the 2280s decade. In the year 2286, Hellenhase commanded Starbase 17 and received Spock, who was in command of the Federation starship USS Enterprise-A after the disappearance of James Kirk during an ion storm, in his office.
