Minnie Hugelmair was a down-time who became Benny Pierce's teenaged student/fellow performer. Her age was estimated to be somewhere around 15 in 1633, though it is possible that she did not know when she was born or exactly how old she was. After a street riot, Benny officially adopted her, making her a citizen of Grantville. She was injured in that riot, and lost her left eye as a result. She later wore a glass eye that once belonged to Henry Dreeson's uncle. She became close friends with Denise Beasley, and the two often traveled together.
