In 2409, a group of Allied officers stranded in Storage Facility Z98 accessed a database entry stating that Obelisk 1 was ready to deploy and awaiting navigational input. They subsequently boarded the ship through an Iconian gateway, manning the stations of the uncrewed vessel. A Romulan researcher was able to open another gateway to the Jouret system, allowing the Allies to return to the Beta Quadrant.
