Molly Gough is a journalist friend of Lachlan White, who convinced her to write an article on Morris Blakey forcing the Dingle family out of their home. However whilst at Wishing Well Cottage, Zak Dingle smashed up Morris' car with a golf club. Although Lachlan sent her away, Molly had enough to write a story about the incident as well as photographs which didn't help the Dingles case. The story made the front page of the Hotten Courier.
