Mount Timor is one of the Ebonbane mountains that is close to Tai-tastigon. The Blue Pass, which Jame and Marc take after leaving the city, passes between Mount Timor and Mount Tinnabin. There are stories of a great cat on Mount Timor that has outwitted generations of hunters that is named the Mount Timor Cat; it has been known to help caravans caught by the snows. Jame guesses correctly that this is an Arrin-ken, and when they meet it in Dark of the Moon we find it is named Immalai, the Silent One.
