The Matriculation program is a type of program used by the resistence tried in order to convert captured machines to fight on their side. Alexa was one of the people involved. First they manage to lure one of the machines into one of their traps, where they weaken it until it is no longer able to struggle, there, they insert the program, similar to jacking in. The resistance fighters jack-in too, in the hopes of befriending it. Alexa's group managed to convert a Runner before they were killed by an attack of machine reinforcements.
