The Battle of Taverley was an engagement in the Asgarnian-controlled town of Taverley. For a few weeks beforehand, Kandarin had been massing troops at their border, which was later referred to as the Catherby Crisis. Asgarnia, in turn, massed troops in Taverley, fearing that Kandarin would invade. In the early morning of May 1st, 137, Kandarin moved 4,100 of their total 8,000 troops into Taverley, immediately facing resistance. By the end of the first day, half of the town was controlled by Kandarin. During the third day, Asgarnian forces slowly pushed the Kandarian Army back.
