Tony and I decided to do something with our crazy love of wine. Rather than sit and have slurred conversations in some bar, we decided to do it in front of a microphone for all the world to hear. This is the maiden voyage of the Moderately Priced Winos Podcast. It was John Lennon’s birthday. We drank a bottle of Barbera D’Alba and hung out with Mike McCarthy (producer of Spoon, Patty Griffin and our last album, Keep Your Wig On.) He was recording the band the Sun next door (www.myspace.com/thesun.) and Chris from the band came over to hang out as well.
