When Steve is asked by a girl to take her to the Harvest Dance in "Gifted Me Liberty", he readily agrees only to discover that she used his as cover to get past her parents to date Wyatt. However, other girls latch onto the same idea, and pay Steve to also act as a surrogate "good-boy" for their parents while they secretly date others. At a dance, several girls become ill and his girlfriend reports that Wyatt had died, as it is discovered that they have passed along a deadly virus that Steve has been immune to as being sexually immature.
