The title of the song is a pun between "Heta" (from hetare; ヘタレ) and "Renka" (恋歌); together it forms "HetaLENka". It tells a story of a boy (Len) having incompitence to progress his feelings for someone. The song is featured in the albums LELELEGEND, All Night Leleledio! (オールナイト れれれでぃお！), Mo～tto! Len Ai Itashimasen kaa! (も～っと！レン愛いたしませんかぁ！), and Len Ai Itashimasen kaa! (レン愛いたしませんかぁ！). It has entered the Hall of Fame.
