Rose Polley was the daughter of Violet Polley and Nick Bartleby, and the grandmother of Aimee Goodman. In 1929, she was abandoned when Violet was killed and Nick did not want to care of her, she was found by Carmela LeFleur and took her to an orphanage. Some time after the murder, LeFleur donated money to the orphanage where Rose stayed - possibly concerned Rose, and the orphanage send a letter which can seen in the end of the episode, thanks for her donation.
