The episode begins with a pre-title sequence (a "hook"), which usually sets the scene for a rescue, before the opening credits begin. The sequence begins with a "5, 4, 3, 2, 1" countdown introducing the Thunderbird craft, before Thunderbird 1 flies out of the pool and into the series' logo, leaving a cloud of smoke behind. Then we are introduced to the main characters as we travel to different part of the logo before a series of short, fast paced clips give a preview of what's about to happen in the episode.
