The BAC Mono is a super-lightweight sports car developed by Briggs Automotive Company, BAC. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 2.3L inline-four Ford 'Duratec' engine tuned and supplied by Cosworth. The Mono is best known for appearing in the Top Gear online magazine and for being a favourite of Jeremy Clarkson. In 2013, the car lapped the Top Gear Test Track with a time of 1:14.3, making it the second fastest car around the track just behind the Pagani Huayra.
