This song was a part of Lennon's solo career as a bonus track in the reissue of The Lennon Collection in 1989. Lennon writes about his experience of withdrawl from heroin. He writes about quitting "cold turkey," meaning on his own, and the physical pain and emotional struggle that came with it. Lennon talks about wanting to die and to be born again, and begging for someone to relieve him on the misery as he promises he'll "be a good boy" from now on. He suddenly quit his recreatnal drug use because of his desire to start a family with Yoko.
