The grimoire allows the player to switch between standard spells and Ancient Magicks, and between standard prayers and Ancient Curses. If the hard Fremennik Tasks have been completed, the player also gains the ability to swap to the Lunar spellbook. It combines the functionality of the altars within the Jaldraocht Pyramid, the Senntisten Temple, and the Astral Altar.
