North Allegheny intends to spend $156,000 on new technology for 28 classrooms at the district's Intermediate High School. Roger Botti, North Allegheny's director of assets, transportation and technology, told the school board last night that the first phase of a two-year plan to improve digital technology at NAI is ready to get underway. The plan includes a new, $156,272.88 four-year lease-to-own agreement with Hewlett Packard Financial Services that will give North Allegheny 425 desktop computers, 30 laptops, 12 iMac computers and six digital mobile lab carts, Mr. Botti said.
