The funeral of Shmi Skywalker Lars took place in 22 BBY after Jedi Padawan Anakin Skywalker raided a Tusken camp, shortly before the outbreak of the Clone Wars. It was attended by Cliegg and Owen Lars, Beru Whitesun, Padmé Amidala, C-3PO, and Shmi Skywalker Lars' son Anakin Skywalker, who wrapped and carried her body to the gravesite. Owen Lars later removed the headstones.
