AD/BC is a rock opera with music by Matt Berry and lyrics by him and Richard Ayoade. It aired on BBC Three in 2004. The Opera is a pastiche on the original rock operas of the early seventies such as Jesus Christ Superstar. Tim Wynde (Matt Berry) introduces his creation AD/BC as a new telling "told in rock" of the birth of Christ. This time however the story is told from the point of view of the Innkeeper.
