HSG Wissenschaft HU Berlin was an ice hockey team in the Eastern part of Berlin, East Germany. After having played in the Liga for the 1952-53 season, HSG qualified for the DDR-Oberliga by finishing first in the qualification tournament for the league. The club played in the Oberliga for three seasons from 1953-1956. They withdrew from the league two games into the 1955-56 season, and folded.
