Within the high elven army, only one group's merit is not based on their number of kills. A spellcaster's value is based on their ability to hinder and tie up enemy forces rather than direct destructive power. Thus, two distinct factions exist among the high elven war casters, referred to as Enchanters and Conjurors. Both rely not just on the classic sphere of magic relating to their name, but also Illusionary magics.
