Kiki Aru is a Munchkin boy, one of the Hyups of Mount Munch. At one point in his youth he discovered an old magical formula of his father's; this gave him the power of transformation. Kiki Aru proved to have a selfish and amoral streak unusual among the inhabitants of Oz; he partnered with Ruggedo the Nome King in a campaign of malicious mischief. In the end, Kiki Aru had to drink the Water of Oblivion from the Forbidden Fountain; purged of his memories and his evil inclinations, he was no longer a disruptive influence. (The Magic of Oz)
