The president is elected for a 7 year term and can be elected for a maximum of 3 terms. If a serving president seeks reelection unopposed he/she is automatically reelected. The president holds no real power other then referring a bill to the Supreme Court and other constitutional duties. They are also the states representative abroad and they open and close the parliament. The president lives in the State Palace in Acadia. The office was created January 275 after the fall of The First Junta. The Constitution states the president is the protector of the law and servant of the people.
