Baten Kaitos Origins is a Monolith Soft and Tri-Crescendo developed title that was published by Nintendo in 2006 for the GameCube. A prequel to Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean, this game was among the final games Nintendo published for the GameCube. Namco produced the game as they did with the original, however Nintendo stepped in to assist financially by publishing the game. Unfortunately the game was never released in Europe as the original was. This title takes place 20 years prior to the first, and features a few new locations most notably the floating Island Hassaleh.
