The machinima came to attention of www.gruntsrus.com , which sponsored the series up until it's shutdown (after it reopened, the same deal was struck until GRU's closure in 2012). Former sponsors have included Machinimaniacs (a machinima community) and the Halo podcast Halo Amplified, as well as the Forging community H3 Artificer. In September 2013, a new partnership was struck with the gaming site SimplyXbox.com, before it too closed its doors. It is one of a few popular machinimas from TP including Halo 3 Dance TV and Friend.
