Hank Harnack, the son of a trucking company operator, became a private in the Confederate Marine Corps' famous Heaven's Devils platoon. Friends with fellow marines Jim Raynor and Ryk Kydd, he was quick to anger and had an impulsive attitude. Harnack was a tall, gangly redhead with size-thirteen feet. As a marine, he had a vid mix implanted into his armor and had a habit of hiding alcohol in his locker.
