David Gilmore appeared in Coronation Street in January 1974 as Frank, a customer at Mario's Restaurant where Jerry Booth and Mavis Riley dined. He also appeared in Roads to Freedom and Crown Court. He later became a theatre director with many productions to his name including Our Country's Good, Daddy Long Legs, Bully Boy, Scenes From A Marriage, Daisy Pulls It Off, Lend Me a Tenor, The Hired Man and Grease.
