By 2381, Gleez had attained the rank of ensign and was serving as gamma shift flight controller aboard the USS Voyager, part of the Project Full Circle fleet. Gleez was still at the helm when Ensign Aytar Gwyn arrived late for her shift because of a sexual encounter with the USS Achilles's conn, the Deltan Ensign Mirren. (VOY novel: Unworthy)
