The Tuqoi Dynasty (known alternatively as the Sangheili Empire) is the primary governing body of the Sangheili race. Formed in the wake of the Great Schism in the mid 2550s, the Dynasty was quick to develop alliances with both the United Nations Space Command and Kabu'a Protectorate via the United Coalition of Systems.
