Balgard pass is a large canyon which acts as the border between The Western Lands and The Northern Lands in Upper Azeria,it is named after the dwarven town of Balgard who famously use a pulley system to lower themselves into the canyon to mine the side.Since the foundation of the northern lands the only way to cross it has been the Great Drawbridge which has been operated by northland dwarves for generations.
