The technique follows the same principles of the Water Conversion Technique in many aspects. The technique performed by making contact with an object or any other type of matter. When contact is made the Watatsumi shinobi uses their chakra to turn the thing into water or any form of water. Once it is transformed the shinobi is free to manipulate it as they like or absorb it to empower or heal themselves. The main difference between the Water Conversion Technique and the Water Transmutation Technique is that the Water Conversion Technique only turns a form of water into another form while the Water Transmutation Technique can only turn other matter into water. This technique has two weaknesses. The first is that the technique cannot be used on living beings and the second weakness is larger
