Favors are the "diplomatic currency" of Beyond Earth. In essence, a leader may offer you a Favor in exchange for some trade if they have nothing else, or you may ask or give one too. You may later spend the Favors they owe you for File:20xEnergyBE.png Energy or some goods, or you may even be able to use a Favor to insist the other party joins your war! Most favors can be redeemed from the AI for about 100 File:20xEnergyBE.png Energy (regardless of game speed), or an equivalent amount of e/turn or strategic resources.
