The Carver's Guild was an organization on the prison planet Ord Vaxal that was solely responsible for regulating and producing grips, stocks, and other weapon-related materials for slugthrowers. They were an important element of the internal politics of Tof Soren, Ord Vaxal's largest settlement. Since many of the slugthrowers produced on Ord Vaxal had wooden components, a fair amount of Tof Soren's gunsmiths would employ artisans from the Guild.
