Shandalle was a kingdom that existed during the Free Years. It was established in the first century after the end of the Trolloc Wars, rising out of the former territory of Almoren, and was later subsumed into the empire of Artur Hawkwing. Hawkwing was born in Shandalle and ruled it as king for several years before beginning his rise to power across the rest of the Westlands. Its territory is currently located in the westernmost regions of the kingdom of Cairhien.
