The 2009 Southern Nevada Coyotes season will be the 10th team to represent the College of Southern Nevada in college baseball. It will involve the Coyotes attempting to improve on their performance from 2008, in which they finished 44-16 (30-10 SWAC) and winning the SWAC Conference Tournament for the second time, defeating rival Western Nevada 6–5 in the Finals. The Coyotes would be eliminated in the Western District Championships, losing to Central Arizona (5–1) and Trinidad State (7–5). Tim Chambers will return for his 10th season as the Coyotes skipper.
