Whacked Out Wrestling (usually abbreviated with the unique capitalization style wOw) was a formerly active promotion based in Providence, Rhode Island. It combined a sports entertainment mentality with gimmicks best described as wacky or sometimes just plain insane. It ran intermittently in its final days, apparently shutting down in 2007. However, plans to resurrect wOw in a video format similar to that of the Unnecessary Roughness Wrestling League are currently in the works.
