On the outside, Besai keeps up a strong and courageous appearance, to help prevent potential enemies from attacking her crew. She however is quite laid-back when not in public and among her crew is known for her various quirks. Her personality is rather wishy-washy, although this is partially an effect of her devil fruit, the Kokami Kokami no Mi, she tends to remain in a rather joyous mood most of the time.
