The Miromoto Bushi school had a history stretching back to Mirumoto himself, who used both his Wakizashi and Katana when in battle. This style, known as niten, creating a rivaly between the followers Mirumoto and the Kakita Bushi school founded by Kakita. The students of the Mirumoto style are also known to train alongside the Togashi family, which caused some to wonder if they are bushi or monks.
