The Darasuum fulfils Windryder's need for a personal meditation chamber completely impregnable to interruption. Her preferred practice is to jump a few light-years into interstellar space and remain there for as long as she needs to find a solution to whatever problem is facing her. The name Darasuum is Mando'a for 'Eternity' - a reference to her prophetic gifts.
