In an alternate timeline, an anti-time eruption was created in the Devron system by the convergence of three inverse tachyon pulses in three different time periods. The discovery of this anomaly created great concern in the Romulan Empire, which dispatched at least thirty Warbirds to investigate in 2370. Starfleet sent a number of ships, including the USS Enterprise-D, in response to the Romulan deployment. The timeline in which these events took place was later negated when Captain Picard was able to prevent the formation of the eruption from occurring. (TNG: "All Good Things..." )
