Abasard and his family were moved from Drene to the Awl'dan plains, land recently appropriated by the Letherii from the Awl. There, Abasard became a shepherd of Rodara. Both he and his entire family had greatly benefited, emotionally, mentally and physically, by this wholesome change in their environment. Abasard, especially, was positively affected by the extraordinary sense of unlimited space and by the possibilities that seemed to be opening-up for him and his kin.
