Slate Spawn are like the zombies though they last a bit longer. They inhabit the bodies of the dead and control them, and then grow. When part of the carriers body is destroyed the Slate spawn try to replace it quickly, but if the Slate Spawn in the carrier is killed, so is the carrier. It has no attacks, it simply makes the undead more formidable and speedy.
