Mutant Raiders are a recurring type of low-tier mutant. They have for the most part retained their sanity and humanoid appearance, but have discolored skin and some sport minor physical alterations, such as excess digits or rudimentary extra limbs or sensory organs, but both are rare. Grunts have largely human motivations and habits and can be encountered as combatants of mutant bands. Their strength is enhanced above human level and they are capable of nimbly wielding far heavier weapons than a human could and can deal with more recoil, too. Grunts will often use a pair of automatic pistols. They carry additional ammunition in bandoleers on their bodies.
