DiGiTs is a four piece punk band from Fullerton, California that formed in late 2003 under the moniker, Neon DiGiTs (after a Le Shok song of the same name). The initial line-up consisted of singer and bassist, Joshua "Felipe" Gutierrez (formerly of R.F.Y.), lead guitarist Jose Basillyo, drummer Samuel Gutierrez and keyboardist and singer Fatima Alshaiker. The band played for a short time before dropping the "Neon" and becoming known as only "DiGiTs". In mid-2004, Fatima Alshaiker|Fatima left the band. Shortly after that, Miguel joined as the band's bassist and Felipe moved to guitar and singer, which drastically changed the band's sound by pushing it into more surf inspired music, rather than the gritty Le Shok-type sound they had previously.
