A sacred burrow built, or earth-sung, by the Banda, containing moss mattresses to sleep on. It is considered a great honour to be permitted to sleep in the Spirit Dig. Sometimes, the privileged few experience a Bak-Baar, where the ancestral spirits of the Banda speak to the sleeper during the night. According to the Banda Elder, others who are less fortunate hear nothing, or sometimes don't even come out at all.
